and tonight
i want to hold you so warmly that you’re able to think of your past in my arms. i want to hold you in a way that you think of all the bad stuff and feel okay, despite it all. i want you to know that i don’t want this moment to become a bad memory. a huge part of me just wants to be a loud, happy, cheerful no, the loudest, happiest, most ridiculous, fucking annoying, high on red bull kind of cheerful person for you in your good moments. a huge part of me only wants to have the honour to shed tears in the open, to confess my sadness in your death if you were to die first. a huge part of me only wants you to cherish my madness long after i have long left if i am the first to say hi to death. the contemplation of the future irks you, i know.
so tonight
just hold me.

so tonight just hold me and when morning comes, try not to leave a note on the table saying you can’t do this anymore.
